01 WHY THIS CAR
Modern cars became more capable.
They also became more complicated.
More weight. More software. More systems between the driver and the machine.
We were looking for something simpler: low weight, clear feedback, useful power, and a car that could be understood and maintained.
The M6GT gave us the starting point.

Start beneath the body.
The body establishes the shape. The chassis determines how the car works.
Retroformance developed the M6GT around an aluminum tub, double wishbone suspension, increased cockpit space, and components selected for availability and serviceability.
The platform is adaptable, but not open-ended. Configuration is defined to ensure the integrity of the design is maintained.

CHASSIS
Purpose-built from the structure.
Inspired by the original racing tubs, the all-aluminum structure uses modern CNC manufacturing and fabrication techniques to achieve period-correct intent with the packaging, rigidity, and practicality required for a road car.
SUSPENSION
Modern geometry. Racing-inspired design.
DOM tubular control arms, racing-style splined sway bars and in-house billet hubs engineered around available Corvette braking components create a dedicated, intellegent platform from the outset.
COCKPIT
Designed around the driver.
Chassis packaging creates additional cabin and foot-box space while preserving the proportions, seating position and character expected of the car.
SERVICEABILITY
Built to be maintained.
Removable panels provide direct access to key mechanical systems, while standard components are used wherever practical to simplify maintenance and long-term ownership.
04 your Build
Start where you are comfortable.
Some owners want to source components and complete the car themselves.
Others want a more complete package with the difficult decisions already resolved.
We can supply the M6GT as a base component system, a more highly specified kit, or a build taken through completion.
Start with the engineered foundation and take the build from there. The body arrives mounted and trimmed, with the major chassis, suspension and steering systems already engineered around the car. From there, component selection and final assembly remain in the builder's hands.
FOUNDATION / MAXIMUM BUILDER INVOLVEMENT
Start with the Base Kit and let us take care of some of the harder parts. We can also supply major components to your specification, reducing sourcing and simplifying the build.
SPECIFIED COMPONENTS / SIMPLIFIED ASSEMBLY
For those who want us to take the build further. Turn-Key configurations begin as a completed vehicle requiring only the engine package and final paint, and can be specified through a fully finished, ready-to-drive M6GT.
