Heritage
Built in microscopic numbers and driven on public roads by Bruce McLaren himself, the 1969 M6GT erased the line between prototype and production. It was loud, raw, and never meant to be polite. The M6GT isn’t remembered because it sold—it’s remembered because it dared.
The original 1969 McLaren M6GT was a Can-Am weapon barely disguised as a road car—low, wide, and unapologetically hostile. It didn’t soften racing technology for the street; it dragged the street into racing’s world. Long before “hypercar” meant luxury, the M6GT meant intimidation.
